Evaluations &
Assessments

I offer both informal assessments and formal evaluations to thoroughly understand and address your child’s reading challenges.

Informal Assessments provide an insightful overview of key areas like phonological awareness, decoding, and comprehension. Through tailored activities and observations, I identify strengths and areas for growth, offering feedback and actionable recommendations.

Formal Evaluations involve administering standardized assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of a student's reading abilities. This in-depth evaluation uses validated, research-based tools. Following the evaluation, you'll receive a detailed written report outlining my findings and recommendations. I’ll review the results with you and create a personalized roadmap for intervention, ensuring clear, targeted strategies for your child’s literacy progress.

Individual
Sessions

Whether you're seeking prevention or intervention, I focus on ensuring foundational skills are developed early on. I create an individualized, supportive learning environment tailored to each child’s unique needs and interests. My goal is to inspire confidence and a love of learning, whether your child is just beginning their reading journey or needs additional support. Consulting

Consulting services are designed to provide personalized guidance and expert support for educators, families, advocates, attorneys, and other professionals working with students struggling in reading and/or overall literacy achievement. I work closely with you to identify challenges, analyze current strategies, and develop effective, evidence-based solutions tailored to your specific needs. Whether you’re seeking help with program implementation, instructional techniques, or understanding assessment results, I offer clear, actionable recommendations to empower you for success. Together, we’ll create a plan that fosters growth and meaningful progress toward literacy achievement.

Parent/Caregiver
Coaching

I don't believe it's your responsibility to be both parent/caregiver and reading interventionist - my goal is to empower you to foster a love of learning, play, and enrichment at home.

I provide the tools, strategies, and terminology to help you confidently support your child’s growth and navigate IEP meetings, so you feel prepared and informed. Teaching your child to read shouldn’t be your burden. Instead, focus on nurturing their language development through simple, meaningful interactions—like reading aloud together and asking questions to spark comprehension and connection.
